Who or what will save us from ourselves?

Most human beings just like being human. Last Friday - Tobaski sacrifice holiday here in West Africa - every Muslim indulged in eating slow-roasted ram, goat, cow, kid and lamb. I don't approve of Halal butchery, but I wished my nearest neighbours a good feast. Three hours later, the lady of the house brought me an enormous bag of raw mutton as a gift. I slow-cooked it aluminium sealed in a 125C oven for five hours, bathed in a sauce of vegetable soup, canned tomatoes and chicken stock. Not exactly traditional, but it was delicious heading towards historically lascivious.

I'm not a great one for tradition. It's often thinly-disguised barbarism. The Islamic practice of mutilating the clitoris in infant females [fgm] is excused as "a tradition", but it is also misogyny on steroids....and, equally to the point, illegal in The Gambia. As so often, however, the blind eye is put the microscope.

For we Godists, there is no logic in it: if the Godness thing that guides the Mataverse decrees that women should be made fecund by enjoying sexual intercourse, it is not the business of power-mad Imams to destroy that Godliness gift. Cum-lately fundamentalists create women who can't come. These male fanatics must be opposed by all Godists...just as Jesus demanded that the money-lenders be expelled from the Temple.

The K'ran and the New Testament are at one on this point...which is really all about respect.

I have been wrestling with these issues at a personal level during the last week. I am in grave danger of being seen as Shit of the Year as a result of my decision to end a sincere and long-held mutual admiration. But when barbaric circumcisors destroy the ability to enjoy, the instinct to admire cannot replace desire.

Does any of this matter any more?

The major element that the Zero Hedge Ivory Tower always neglects is the time starvation, apathy and idées fixes of the average opinion-leading bourgeois professional: obsessed with social position, struggling with school fees, gullible beyond belief about government statements, scrambling up the North Face of social demography, and all those high in IQ and low in wisdom jerks forever at the mercy of globalist deregulation.

It's the taxi drivers, roadsweepers, nurses, cleaning ladies, gas fillers and car parkers who are on it. As a matter of course, these unfortunates expect the tax collectors to shit on them....because they always have.

These are the real heroes who didn't get vaxed, didn't trust either Fauci or Hancock, and preferred the Gilets Jeunes to motherfucker Macron...those who sense that the empiricism of Marine Le Pen is why she is being hounded by a fascist élite State.

The process of showly boiling the glib lobsters is already well under way. All my "Resistance" subscription emails are now routinely bounced back by Google, not a single online platform or ISP can be trusted to deliver on their promises, the corporacratic unelected State is diluting our Civil Rights one by one, search engines blatantly ignore every site, songwriter and band that discourages compliance, and digi-currency is being adopted by every major power-bloc on the planet.
