Despite having now departed for the celestial pavilion, sixty years on Mike still holds the record for the fastest century ever scored in Lancashire and Cheshire Junior league limited overs cricket. In that league, each side gets twenty overs of six balls each, or a hundred and twenty balls in total. So my brother scored 103 runs off 120 balls. I doubt if anyone will ever beat it. While that is of course purely my opinion, his achievement is devoid of propaganda, one hundred per cent empirical, and a matter of written record.
He would've been 81 years old tomorrow. Yesterday was May 9th, and there was a day-long Great Patriotic War fest going on all day on Russia Today. It was pernicious tosh from start to finish, and a truly Orwellian rewrite of history.
Missing entirely from RT's celebration of 'How Russia defeated the Nazis single-handed' is any mention whatsoever of the USSR dictator Josef Stalin's cynical anti-West Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression pact of August 1939. The pact enabled Germany to invade Poland without fear of a two-front war, effectively starting World War II. It also allowed the Soviet Union to gain territories in Eastern Europe, and delayed a potential conflict with Germany...but above all, Stalin's murderous aim in signing it was to hope Nazi Germany and the Democratic powers would wear themselves out in fighting each other - and leave the USSR free to take over from Ireland to Ankara.
Once Hitler predictably broke his word and turned on Russia, it was only Pearl Harbor, D-Day and Anglo-American bravery that baled Uncle Joe out. Furthermore - lest anyone should forget - of those who starved in the Soviet Gulags before even Hitler came to power, the 3.3 million inhabitants of Soviet Ukraine who died in 1932 and 1933 were victims of a deliberate killing policy related to nationality. In early 1930, Stalin had announced his intention to “liquidate” prosperous peasants (“kulaks”) as a class so that the state could control agriculture and use capital extracted from the countryside to build industry.
There will be many out there who read these lines and judge me as someone who "needs to make his mind up what side he's on".
My answer is straightforward. I am on the side of Truth, and dedicated to the task of outing those who would destroy it: the role of this site remains to hold media agit-prop mendacity to account. I really don't care if those on the receiving of this are called Musk, Trump, Vance, Xi Ping, Von der Leyen, Putin, Mandelson, Starmer, Macron, Le Pen, Scholz, Weidel or Kennedy.
For like it or not, all the above gargoyles and many more besides want you to believe that Settled Science is a Truth - and only a New World Order based on control through digital carriers, AI and transhuman technology can save us.
Substitute 'enslave' for the word 'save' there, and you're onto what the Game Plan really is.
They're the same people who believe in a chaotic Universe driven by entropy. In turn, most astrophysicists are atheists; the beauty of being an atheist is that it offers the right to play at being God with no little details like ethics, empathy and humanity to hold you back.
I have long believed that the mysteries of Time, space, mass, energy and light in the post-Plank Einsteinian world suggest intelligent design in almost every aspect of what we are discovering as we struggle to grasp ways round the elegant E=mc2 equation that traps us in our own solar system.
Long term Slog followers will perhaps remember my contention as follows about E= mc2 - more fully, Energy = mass x the speed of light squared. If you can become two-dimensional and survive, then your mass will be nought....and nought x 365k mps x 365k mps equals nought. Study every account of aeroplane pilot UFO sightings, and the clear conclusion is that the encounters with such craft involve speeds and sudden disappearances consonant with two-dimensional zero mass.
The fact that these alien craft can travel from distant galaxies to Earth at all confirms that....and the more we learn about wormholes, the more obvious it becomes that they represent the short-cut advanced extra-terrestrials are using.
The sole purpose of wormholes is to enable interstellar travel and thus both observe and communicate with distant life forms. Enter an unstable wormole with your mass intact, and you'll destroy it: but enter it with your mass converted into energy, and you can go wherever you like.
This simply isn't pointless chaos, it is intelligent design.
