Have you as yet started screaming at the pc/smartphone screen because some tin bot, job-destroying machine with no empathetic right-cortex asks you to prove that you are human?
Have you gaped in disbelief as they give you a shape to match-drag into a photo, and then - you having performed the task to perfection - recoiled as this zero-sympathy piece of tin says "You failed the test"?
How many times do people need to be told this?
AI destroys jobs
AI gives corporacrats and monopolists somewhere safe to hide
AI produces risible service that raises customer blood pressure
AI has no mutuality kindness gene
AI is the obvious enemy of Homo sapiens
Those who like and applaud AI are high in IQ and dismally low in wisdom
They are little more than human lobsters being ever so gently boiled alive
The denialism about the existential crisis we're facing as a species never ceases to stagger me. Europe is broke, American debt is terrifying and Israel-Iran is a nuclear event waiting to happen. I used to find writing about this stuff cathartic. Now it makes me want to tear my hair out.
Try to imagine what complete slaves we will all become once cash is abolished and all income and expenditure is channeled through banker-controled smartphones>>>
