The more of your Civil Rights he steals, the more money he makes
Sir Peter Schofield KCB, the department of Work & Pensions permanent secretary, received performance-related pay of between £10,000 and £15,000 last year, in addition to a salary of between £195,000 and £200,000.
His bonuses are directly related to how much money he can save....at the expense of women being denied winter fuel bonuses, and attacking the Civil Rights of those who paid forty-two years of National Insurance contributions.
People LIKE ME, for example....
I'm retired in West Africa [The Gambia] and work primarily in the field of backing borehole water-drilling to reduce malaria, plus making charitable contributions to the medical bills of deserving tourism workers....who are often grossly exploited and underpaid.
Sixty per cent of the income I have here is from my State Pension, and my skin in the amoral games being played by Sir Peter Schofield's DWP is that early in 2024 they stopped paying my State Pension without warning....the bizarre rationale being 'insufficient activity on your account' - aka, mendacious gobbledegook. At enormous personal expense, I had to prove via Gambian officials who I am, get my permanent residency here confirmed, and send this proof by DHL courier to the DWP's collection centre.
There are lies, damned lies, and DWP lies
What followed was a saga of serial lies about 'not having received the proof of identity required'. Only when I used DHL to prove they had achieved delivery plus employee signature - and threatened a class action suit with page-captured evidence - did the DWP capitulate and recommence payments in September 2024.
Two days ago I discovered that the payments have now stopped again, and no deposits have been made to my Nationwide Bank Account since March 2025.
How on Earth did we get to here?
Why have we arrived at this depraved destination on Planet Starmer where unaccountable corporacrats are motivated with bonuses to produce misery for innocent citizens?
The answer as always is: because many good men did nothing. Below are extracts From The Slog in September 2024 that detail how many times First World citizen apathy has refused to oppose Sovereign theft:
I look back at the State versus Citizen injustice during and since the Reagan-Thatcher era and observe that, during their anglospheric love-in, First World blue collar workers saw a 27% drop in real spending power, wealth did not trickle down – it gushed up towards a few conmen like Gates, Musk and the Saatchis – and bureaucrats the Ronnie-Maggies claimed to hate became more overpaid and numerous then ever.
Moving to the other side of the Great Pond that separates two nations confused by a common language, my own homeland is displaying what I think of as the Great Debate in which all sense of human mutuality, common decency and long-term cultural defence is stripped out ruthlessly before the discussion can commence.
Many of you I hope still remember the camaraderie of the Slog’s deep involvement in – and source of many great friendships afterwards – from 2008-2020 in support of UK Women Against State Pension Inequality (Waspi).
You can tune into its full history here but the Sun headline is that this cowardly, welching denial of Civil Rights was and remains the most outrageous and despicable fraud ever mounted by a UK Government: it chose to belittle and financially rape traditional 1950s-born females, seeing them solely as “an easy target and low-hanging fruit”.
And remember, this was under Crackhead Osborne - long predating censorious Starmer. The problem here isn't "a Party political issue". It is the rise and rise of the Mussolini Model unelected Corporate State.
Had such a smash-and-grab raid ever been been mounted in the private pension sector, everyone connected to the scam would’ve gone to jail.
The 21st century failure to get full WASPI justice remains my Brit culture’s parallel to spineless European acquiescence in Hitler’s Rhineland remilitarisation on 7th March 1936.
The same is true of allowing the UK Department of Work & Pensions to reach a stage in 2024 where millions of women cheated of their Citizen Rights now occupy a tiny cell on the DWP website, dismissed as – and I quote – “we no longer regard their cases as relevant to our provider responsibilities”.
Most of the Investment-giant-bought legacy media have also crossed the road while looking away. One admirable exception is senior Daily Telegraph Money reporter Mattie Brignal who in January 2025 revealed more DWP calumny as follows:
'Nearly £12m of taxpayers’ money was paid in bonuses to over 80,000 Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) staff last year.
This included 91 top-ranking officials who netted an average performance-related payment of £7,250, with the highest payout reaching £14,000.
In total, £634,685 was paid to high-ranking DWP staff – enough to pay for 3,000 pensioners’ energy bill support.'

What we should have done in the UK after 2004 was to stop staring up our own backsides, and instead force these unelected sociopaths to emerge from under their slimey stone-cold hiding places to face the music.
But we blew that one.
Then we blew the WOMD farce.
Then we blew the evidence showing blatant EUNATO interference to undermine the Brexit vote.
Then we blew the Sino-American Covid derivation drivel offered to us by Anthony Fauci….a man who changed his version of Wuhan events more often than most folks change their underwear.
Then we blew the inexplicable existence of Pentagon-funded bioweapon labs from north to south of the Ukrainian border with Russia…as well as unveiling the Colombian marching powder habit of Ukrainian “leader” Zelenskyy.
Then we blew the chance to put UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock behind bars for lying to Parliament as a serving Secretary of State when he insisted that Covid “vaccines” had a clean bill of health.
Then we allowed first Boris Johnson’s ‘wife’ – and later, Fishy Sunak at PMQs – to get away with disgusting attempts to persuade us that a largely untested mRNA bioweapon with a 32 per cent rate of success was just the ticket for dealing with a virus invented and enhanced by a militarily funded Sino-US military operation.

I applaud its aims, but in the context of radical reality, their starting assumption is not borne out by the empirical evidence: we the First World People have no organisation anywhere that works for We the People.
The bureau-cum-technocrats function with only two aims in mind: first, their ability to follow orders given to them by the 0.03 percent whose barely secretive aims for Planet Earth are not difficult to discern of you’re awake rather than woke; and second, to apply club-foot techno claptrap to treat human citizens as mushrooms: kept in the dark, but with occasional shovels of horse-dung thrown into the cellar.'
I'm breaking a self-inflicted rule to write this post. Why am I doing that?
It's a rule I applied to myself in 2010 after revealing [via three unimpeachable sources] that the then Prime Minister Gordon Brown was using last-ditch heavy duty MAOI anti-depressants in an attempt to deal with his crushing depressive illness. This was a man with his finger on the nuclear button. It was potentially (and duly became) an issue of great public concern that was serially dismissed by the Labour leadership as "a lie".
In fact, every word of it was true, and Downing Street knew it. What else could explain sudden and threatening calls from Number Ten to my French home....calls that terrified my wife? And how had they obtained my unlisted landline number?
The net result was I had to wind up my blog Not Born Yesterday on the Front Page platform and start all over again - because the mainstream British media at the time cancelled me with ruthless totality....even occasioning a story in the infamous New York Times that screamed, 'How one blogger's wild guess nearly unseated a Prime Minister'. This lie was planted at the NYT by the Guardian's then boss, Alan Rusbridger...one of the all-time enemies of empirical Truth
There was no wild guess involved. All of the sources have now passed away, so I can reveal that one was a Royal dispensing psychiatrist, one was a senior member of the Number Ten catering staff, and the third was a Guardian journalist who had seen diet-sheets for Brown [it was the classic MAOI must-avoid list of foodstuffs and wines] that were being given to kitchens where catered events would be attended by Brown....but the journo's story had been spiked.
The Golden Rule I therefore awarded myself was 'Don't ever attack the State Establishment head on, otherwise they will ruin your life'
I'm breaking that personal life-guidance today because I'm too old now to care about my "career" as a commentator any more, or the loss of an £826 per month pension.
This is an appeal for everyone reading today's post regardless of age, wealth, gender or sexuality: an appeal to stop complying with depraved evil, stop leaving all resistance to the person next to you, stop passing by on the other side of the road, stop biting your tongue - and start fighting for the World you're bequeathing to your Godchildren, your grandchildren, your nephews and your nieces.
