The case for watching the major news channels every day

The Slog's adage - invented eighteen years ago - still holds good: what you get from the big-bloc news news networks online or by satellite is indeed pure propaganda....aka, complete bollocks [or BS if you're American]. But if you pay close attention, the discernment of elite agendas can pay dividends for everyone who wants to know what the next thing up Mendacity Central's sleeve is likely to be.

There is obvious bias against Trump at the BBC, slavish support for Caliphatist Islam at TRTWorld, knee jerk anti-Putin/pro Zelensky bilge at CNN and EuroNews, anti-NATO and pro Stalin/China history rewriting at RussiaToday (RT), Gallic decrying of everything not French at France24, apologist 'Muslims are nice people really' stuff at Al Jazeera and pretty much anti-Netanyahu attitudes everywhere beyond Washington and New York.

But watching the News anchor whores peddling their master's voice on a daily basis is highly instructive on several levels: who they invite on-screen to comment, what kind of an 'interview ride' a pundit is given, what "truth" assumptions are neither debated nor questioned, and how effusive the anchor is following the ideological download once the guest has finished trotting out the Party Line.

Equally, the particular obsession of the day chosen by the network informs the analytical viewer when it comes to the overall agenda.

For example, over the last 48 hours, the Global Warming "crisis" IABATO has been in overdrive mode at the BBC, CNN and Euronews. Everyone invited to comment by the anchors is dubbed an "expert", and those who don't agree with their opinions are dismissed as "deniers" rather than sceptics. In the midst of a love-in about Mexican immigrants last Monday, for example, one guest was introduced as 'a leading expert on social workers'. The lady concerned was a social worker herself, and so spookily had nothing but praise for her profession. The spectacle we witnessed was an "explanation" of Mexican immigration based entirely on water supply connected to climate change - a tableau depicting escapee Mexicans as the victim of ecological misbehaviour by the US. China - the world's largest ecological vandal in terms of water pollution, food chain rape and greenhouse gases by some distance - didn't get a mention.

The not exactly hidden agenda in this instance was 'Get Trump and associate Right Wingers with irreversible planetary damage'. It's a neat myth that fits with Democrat fantasies at the moment, but it isn't the real problem at all. I'm all for Get Trump because he's welched on every vow he gave to get elected, but bleeding-heart liberal fascists don't want to go into the darkness that explains why Trump has back-pedalled on almost every policy goal that put him in the White House.

What we're really witnessing is this: the reality of a triumphant unelected State that is able to go about its business largely ignoring pompous poodle POTUS promises because it and it alone is the telling power in the land.

In 1963, JFK's public murder at the hands of a Secret State/Mafia joint op was also whitewashed by the risible Warren Commission cacophony of magic bullets and backwards-flying brain tissue.

Nothing has changed. In 2025, the Epstein stain has been eradicated using four coats of brilliant white oil paint, courtesy of a DoJ/FBI cover-up.

The NWO forces have created a ludicrous Russian bogey-man and a global climate emergency long on rhetoric but short on evidence.

Next up - and why do I feel so confident in this prediction? - will almost certainly be the new Gates/WHO Pandemic...to be swiftly followed by an mRNA bioweapon in the disguise of a miracle immunisation jab.
