RFKJr SENATE HEARINGS: A KANGAROO COURT THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO TIE DOWN
This is the latest from Associated Press about when we’ll get an outcome on the RFKJr nomination/confirmation Hate Rally aka The Senate:
‘When exactly the committees will hold a vote on the nomination remains uncertain.Oversight of the U.S. Health and Human Services agencies is shared between the two committees. The finance committee is involved because the sprawling $1.7 trillion agency is responsible for a huge part of the nation’s economy — overseeing insurance for nearly half the country, funneling billions of dollars to the states for Medicaid and providing health insurance for the nation’s older Americans through Medicare.
Meanwhile, the HELP committee also has oversight of the agency’s program and agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration.
All eyes will be on Republican Bill Cassidy of Louisiana for the vote’.
Lots of nosey-parkers overseeing each other….jobs for the bought folks: nice work if you can get it.
However, after pressing RFKJr to rebut each critic in just the seven seconds left to him, these clowns can only tell AP that “ When we’ll hold a vote on the nomination remains uncertain”.
As we Limeys tend to say, these puffed-up hate poseurs ‘are avin’ a larf’.
But disturbingly, the general view is that ultimately, much of the decision will come down to the whims of one bloke: William Morgan Cassidy, a senior Senator and physician from Louisiana.
-----------------------------------------
Cassidy – generally seen as a moderate Republican – in fact started out his political life as a Democrat. He supported Dukakis for President in 1988 and donated to Senator Paul Tsonga’s Prezz campaign in 1992, so clearly he knows how to pick a winner.
However, Senator Cassidy isn’t very keen on Donald Trump. In 2021, he was one of seven Republican senators to vote to convict Trump of incitment to insurrection, and in 2023, after Trump was indicted for mishandling classified documents, Cassidy called for Trump to drop out of the 2024 Presidential Election campaign. After Trump secured the Republican nomination, Cassidy declined to endorse him in that election. Like I say, he knows how to pick a winner.
In short, Cassidy is a closet Bidenite dedicated to the myth that Trump tried to start a revolution on January 6th 2021. But he says he isn’t...and on his Twitter X account, puffing Billy said in October 2024 that the re-election of Biden Crime Family values stooge Kamala Harris would only serve to extend the ‘disastrous administration’ of Sleepy Joe.
As you can see, trying to tie down the Real Bill Cassidy really is on a par with trying to lasso ether armed only with a hula-hoop potato chip.
As for RFKJr himself, at the hearings, Cassidy expressed his serious misgivings about Kennedy heading the Department of Health and Human Services as follows:
“If there’s someone that is not vaccinated because of policies or attitudes you bring to the department, and there’s another 18-year-old who dies of a vaccine-preventable disease … it’ll be blown up in the press,” said Cassidy, referring to a young woman he treated who experienced liver failure as a complication of vaccine-preventable Hepatitis B. “The greatest tragedy will be her death. But I can also tell you an associated tragedy: that it will cast an absolute shadow over President Trump’s legacy.”
Ah, right – so Senator Cassidy is now concerned for the “legacy” of a man he once voted to indict for insurrection, refused to back in the 2024 election, and whom he thinks a security risk. Yes?
No. Or yes. With reservations. Yes People, choosing William Morgan Cassidy as a target is tricky when the rifle-range dummy is moving at the speed of light.
To paraphrase Hungarian leader Viktor Orban on the subject of the European Union, “If this is your idea of democracy, then frankly you can keep it”.
Meanwhile – as the torture drags on – the usual suspects are queuing up to jump on Kennedy’s head.
------------------------------------------------
The UK’s Guardian newspaper, for example, has got “a story” on the RFKJr Senate confirmation hearings. The “story” is – drumroll please, maestro - a condemnation by Little G of Kennedy’s “dishonesty” that goes like this:
‘A letter submitted to the US Senate that states it was sent by physicians in support of Robert F Kennedy Jr’s nomination as secretary of health and human services includes the names of doctors who have had their licenses revoked or suspended’.
The docs were suspended because they refused to administer Covid “vaccines” that weren’t vaccines, but were in fact – irrefutable evidence shows – half-cocked and falsely tested mRNA killer drugs that were only sporadically effective in either (a) stopping Covid death or (b) making vaccinated people non-infectious.
Even the whores at Reuters had to admit that ‘Statistics show the majority of deaths from COVID-19 are among vaccinated people’….as indeed they were. Risibly, they tried to “prove” that – wait for it – ‘the stats reflect the fact that most people are vaccinated, not that the vaccines are ineffective’.
Listen space cadets, if they got vaccinated but then died of Covid, chances are the vaccine didn’t work, capiche? Words like quack, water, flapping wings and duck spring to mind, although I can’t imagine why.
Unexplained excess early deaths among those aged 25-40 were consistently higher in countries where vaccination levels were higher and consistently normal in countries where the vaccines were not easily available – ie, chiefly in the Third World.
My own daughter’s sister in law was vaccinated, and within twenty four hours became a hospital emergency who took several weeks to recover.
As for stopping the spread of Covid via nullifying person-to-person infection, a close colleague of mine with three children was visited by parents who’d been double-jabbed and boosted….and within hours of their arrival, the entire family [including her] had Covid.
So that’s The Guardian’s best shot at joining the glee club desperate to position RFKJr as a lunatic extremist. But it least the hacks in the Facts Are Sacred Factory didn’t go to quite the hate-spitting lengths of Native American squaw Elizabeth Warren, whose ranting attack on Kennedy was quite the most disgraceful and inaccurate public example of unwarranted character assassination I’ve witnessed during half a century of commenting on politics.
The real tragedy here is that Warren exhibits all the features of the reborn hard-Left Democratic Party that has alienated, with surgical precision, every single deprived group in the US from paycheck voters to working class American religious traditionalists via a negro population sick of their jobs coming under threat from a Tsunami of ‘groomed’ migrants. I can’t think of another country where liberal-left elected lawmakers have done such a thing.
Oh hang on – yes I can: the Labour Party in the United Kingdom, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s sensitive policy of giving illegal migrants free passes on the London Underground railway system. Silly me.

Despite the willingness of a huge proportion of the First World’s Smugster demographic to believe the laughably unbelievable (Weapons of Mass Destruction, Settled Science, Infinite Genders, Progressive Policies, Multiculturalism, Anthony Fauci’s Gain of Function, Woke and so forth)......it remains true that an odd alliance of the Old, the unskilled worker, downmarket service providers [eg taxi drivers] and utilisers of Common Sense but minority views are increasingly rejecting all things beginning with World [Health Organisation, Economic Forum, Bank, Food Programme, Trade Organization] or New [World Order, Normal, Shift, Development Bank].
Innate human decency, and what one might call at a micro level the Good Samaritan gene, is very clearly benefiting from this awakening in relation to all things Big and Bogus. Now, every day on every continent, the Feelgood by Doing Good movement is gaining ground….and this it something to which the four percent sociopathic psychographic has no answer.

In the Balkans recently, Ganimete Salihu and her husband, Jeton Salihu, handed over the keys to a new home to a family in Podujvo, which will remain anonymous at their request. (It’s not the first time this admirable couple have done this).
After seeing a call for hair donations for children suffering from cancer on social networks, a Bosnian girl called Lamia decided to donate all her hair to the Heart for Children with Cancer Association (Srce za djecu oboljelu od raka).
The author Ryan Holiday’s latest book - Right Thing, Right Now: Good Values. Good Character. Good Deeds – is in exactly the same territory as The Slog’s Feelgood-Do Good school of thinking – as he explains:
“I want to see justice as a thing that we do — virtue as a verb and not a noun. … Justice isn't this thing that we get from other people or a standard we're held to. It is instead a way that we live our life. It's always great to do things that are challenging intellectually, but I understood that this is the part of philosophy that we like to skip over. The Virtue ethics are easy to skip over because they ask a lot of us. They put us in positions where we have to make choices that are not always in our self-interest. I also understand that if you only popularise the fun parts of something, you are doing an injustice to that thing.”
‘Not always in our self-interest’ is the core point being made, although I would go further: I see anthropological tribal science as in play here….the overwhelming majority of our species gain an increase in self-esteem when they help a fellow-human without reward. When, in fact, they show empathy to a stranger in need.
The transhuman dystopianists would have you believe that the dog-eat-dog fight for money typifies Homo sapiens, but the scientific evidence says otherwise: most people would rather walk tall in their own right than grovel on their bellies as slaves to Mammon. It’s the key to why neoliberal economics born in the Reagan/Thatcher era are a cultural dead-end that is, at long last, being found out.
Net-net, things really are looking up. Enjoy your Sunday, and sleep soundly tonight
