Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!

Pretty much everyone around the world beyond Islam today is celebrating the triumph of Communist totalitarianism over Tsarist Police State oppression. Make of that lunacy what you will, but the events concerned took place 110 years ago - and replaced old bosses with new bosses even more controlling than the old bosses. In 2025, Chinese Labor Day, also known as the International Workers' Day, will be celebrated from May 1st to May 5th. This will include a five-day holiday period. To make up for the lost workdays, April 27th, 2025 (Sunday) will be an adjusted working day.

I reside as a permanent resident in the West African Union aka ECOWAS. May Day is being celebrated via a Bank Holiday which remains almost completely baffling to most black Africans....whose sole requirement is to earn enough during this "day off" to put food on the table at the end of an ideologically pointless tradition. Another tradition here persists as female genital mutilation.

So much for tradition

Verily, we are a weird species.

So here I am on this allegedly auspicious day, trying to explain what the RealSlog site at Ghost stands for. Ergo, let this be clear forever from now on:

1. I stand above all for the principle of human personal independence from those who would enslave via dependence
2. My role as a socio-cultural commentator is to make those with corporacratic power accountable to citizen electors
3. I shall pursue such individual liberty without giving a Good God damn for closed-mind knee-jerk science, religious bigotry or lockstep ideology that between them represent the philosophical cancers of our era.

Above all, THOSE WITH MONIED POWER MUST BE MADE ACCOUNTABLE.

This cuts across all "Party lines". Such is entirely sensible....end scientifically progressive.
