Good news for all existing and former followers of The Slog: censor-free comment threads are back....and here to stay.

From here on - now I'm a fully signed-up GhostPro writer - everyone who arrives at this site will be invited to comment without fear of censorship beyond the things I've always disallowed - ie, foul language and personal attacks on others in the Thread.

For eight years between 2010 and 2019, The Slog's comment thread garnered huge praise for being (as the veteran journalist Simon Jenkins once remarked) "One of the liveliest places on the internet....go there before he [John Ward] is shut down by the forces of darkness".

Now at last the forces of Light have returned, and you can once more comment on every post.

To leave your comment, you have to be a subscriber, but subscription is free at the GHost version of therealslog, and the sign-up process is very straightforward.

Very sincere thanks go to Bob, Matthew and all the other hero human beings who staff the Ghost help centre when AI doesn't cut it.

So c'mon stray Sloggers....sign into the new roost at Ghost, and lets apply more common sense, intelligence, encouragement and humour to the struggle against the pinched goblins of New Normalism.

There's some big news and geopolitical shifts upcoming on several fronts at the moment....so let's all keep supplying an alternative to the sold-out media lockstep of lies.
